Fire Alarm Procedure for Customers
In the event of a fire alarm, your safety is our top priority. Please follow these steps:
1. Stay Calm
-
Keep your composure to ensure a safe and effective response.
2. Listen for Announcements
-
Pay attention to any announcements made over the intercom system for instructions.
3. Evacuate Immediately

If you hear the fire alarm, please exit the building promptly using the nearest exit.
4. Assist Others
-
If it’s safe to do so, help others who may need assistance.
5. Keep all doors closed
-
Closing doors helps contain the fire and reduce smoke spread.
6. Gather at the Designated Meeting Point
-
Once outside, proceed to the designated assembly area (Outside the 3G, on the grass verge)
-
Stay there until you receive further instructions.
7. Do Not Re-Enter the Building

Please wait for emergency personnel to declare the building safe before re-entering.
8. Report Any Missing Persons
-
If you notice anyone is unaccounted for, inform emergency responders immediately.
Important Reminders
-
Familiarise yourself with the building’s exit routes upon your arrival.
-
In case of a small, manageable fire, do not attempt to extinguish it unless you are trained and it is safe to do so.
